The JCID 8-13PM Receiver Test Adaptor is a specialized diagnostic board designed for the JCID V1SE and V1S PRO programmers . This adaptor enables repair of Face ID and True Tone issues caused by a faulty or missing receiver FPC (earpiece flex cable) on iPhone 8 through 13 Pro Max series devices .
When the original receiver flex cable is damaged or missing, critical functions like True Tone, auto-brightness, and proximity sensing are lost. This adaptor allows technicians to read and write the necessary data to a replacement receiver FPC without requiring the original cable .
