The JCID iPhone 14 Series Camera FPC Without Chip is a specialized no-solder FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) flex cable designed to fix rear camera issues on iPhone 14 models. It resolves common software conflicts and "pop-up" error messages that appear after replacing the camera module with a non-original part .

This "Tag-On" or "Non-Removal" cable works by bridging the new camera module to the original logic board, allowing the JCID programmer to transfer the necessary calibration data without invasive soldering .

Key Features

  • No Onboard Chip (Empty FPC) – Unlike other repair variants (Romeo chips), this cable acts as a bridge for data transfer and does not contain its own integrated programmable IC .
  • Non-Removal Tag-On Design – The cable is installed by folding and inserting it between the camera and the board, requiring no micro-soldering on the logic board side .
  • Solves "Pop-Up" & Pairing Issues – Specifically targets code matching failures and system warnings ("Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple camera") triggered after hardware replacement .
  • Compatible with JCID Programmers – Works exclusively with the JCID V1SE or V1S Pro programmer hardware.
  • Requires Soldering (Camera Side Only) – While the main connection is solder-free, this FPC generally needs to be micro-soldered onto the new camera module flex cable itself during preparation .
